There was no Pharmacy College in this region till 2005 and Mr Amit Goel, Founder of Shivika Educational Society, realising the need for training the students in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and established Vivek College of Technical Education, Bijnor in 2005. Thus this college is the pioneering pharmacy institute in this region.
The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, which is the apex body controlling technical and professional education in the country. The College and its degrees and diploma are also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. Recognition by all the four apex bodies bears a testimony to a very high level of academic excellence the college has achieved.
The college has intellectual, dedicated and experienced faculty members for the academic progress of the students. The College is equipped with all the modern instruments and machinery like High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Automatic Tablet Punching Machine, Lyophilizer, UV Spectrophotometer, Brookfield Viscometer, Microtome and many more to provide the best practical training to budding pharmacists.



The College provides a stimulating and productive environment for Pharmaceutical education and research. 
The classrooms are well lit and equipped with audio-video teaching aids for the effective teaching-learning process. The College has state-of-the-art-laboratories that are supported by trained Lab technicians where students perform practical under the supervision of experienced faculty members.

All labs are equipped with all the required instruments prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India.


The Library is an integral part of the college. The library has a crucial role in supporting higher education and research. The College has an exclusive library facility for students and teachers with more than 10,000 books and 50 National and International Journals. It is located at the heart of college on the ground floor of the College building in a clean and quiet atmosphere. The library is furnished with wooden reading tables having good lighting system, comfortable chairs and Air conditions.  Absolute silence is ensured by library staff, by displaying adequate signboards. Computers with Internet facility are available along with Printer in the library. The library reading room has 125 seats and the timing of Library is from 9 AM to 5 PM.


Training and Placement Cell
To maintain an Institute Industry interface, the college has an active “Training and Placement Cell” to coordinate various activities like summer training, Industrial visits, Carrier guidance and placements of the students.
The college organize an industrial visit to B.Pharm students every year to upgrade the students with current updates about the industrial profession and research. Our B.Pharm final year students visit the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI-CSIR Lab) every year. The students of B.Pharm 3rd year visit the reputed Pharma Industry, which helps to develop innovative ideas among the students. 
The T&P Cell also arranges the 6 weeks training for B.Pharm students at the end of 3rd year in reputed Pharma companies.
